Specification of ceramic rods:
1. Raw material: Yttria stabilized zirconia, MgO stabilized zirconia, 95~99.5% alumina, Silicon carbide (SiC)
2. Forming method: Extruding, Dry pressed, Ceramic injection molding and ISO pressing
3. Specification: Available outer from 1mm to 50mm, available length from 3mm to 2000mm
4. Tolerance: All dimensions are with tighten tolerance via fine grinding, lapping
5. Surface finish: the working surface to be diamond polished up to Ra0.1, or better

1. Low thermal conductivity, less than 3 W/m.k at room temperature
2. Chemical inertness, not interact with almost all strong acid and alkali
3. Higher density than most of technical ceramics, over than 6 g/cm3
4. High hardness, over than 1300 MPa for Vicker
5. Can withstand higher temperatures up to 2400°
6. Exceptional fracture toughness reaches up to 8 Mpa m1/2
7. Resistance to molten metals due to an extraordinary melting point

Description of zirconia ceramic rods:

Zirconia ceramic rods/bars have the advantages of super hardness, high wear-resisting, high-temperature tolerance, good corrosion resistance, very low friction coefficient, high strength, high mechanical strength, good chemical stability, polishing surface and so on. All these ceramic components can offer high dimensional accuracy, mirror surface, and stringent straightness via fine grinding and diamond polishing.
We have been supplying with many selections of regular diameters with custom lengths, also we are capable of producing various of special shapes, customized diameters in specific materials.
